Most of the summer and early fall is still ahead of us and there is so much to do in our little town of Mitchell. Enjoy a beautiful nature walk starting with our private gardens and continue on to the Thames river and West Perth Nature Trail & Wetlands (be sure to walk all the way to Lions Animal Park to see the gorgeous white peacock and many other animals). Downtown Mitchell is small but quite nice for a town walk with some shops. Jillian's, our local home decor gem, is a must to browse through for unique upscale finds and inspiration. Mitchell Golf Course & Country Club is within a walking distance from us. West Perth Municipal Tennis Court is even closer: only a couple of blocks away and is available at no cost on first come first serve basis. There is a beautiful Lavender Farm only a picturesque 20 min drive away offering spectacular views, a boutique full of exquisite lavender products made on site and lavender ice cream.
And much more! We are 20 min from Stratford Festival, 40 min from the beaches of Grand Bend and 35 min from Bayfield.
We still have available: Aug 3,4,6. And September! September is typically, like summer here, but milder and not as hot. We keep our pool open until Thanksgiving, so depending on the weather, September could be perfect for a poolside vacation. There are some weekends, weekdays here and there and some 7 day "stretches" to be able to take advantage of our weekly rates (especially, in September). Come stay with us and enjoy spectacular garden views, lounge by the pool in the sun or in the shade. Explore our quaint little town or go day tripping. Full breakfast is included and other optional restaurant quality meals are available. Children under 12 stay and eat free.
