I absolutely have to share this amazing shopping experience I had last Thursday. The Wild Hog Country Market located at 2785 Line 34 Perth East, Ontario (just outside of Stratford right on HWY 8). I only went for the Stone Bridge Flour for our breads, but ended up browsing for quite some time. I started with getting the perfect cup of coffee and the shopping cart even had a coffee cup holder in it.
This is a spectacular family owned and operated local fresh food from the farm to your table Meat, Cheese, Produce and Grocery, Cafe, Bakery and Espresso bar. All products were fresh, beautifully packaged, artfully arranged and a good mix of grocery, gift and kitchen wares. The butchers counter has this huge display fridge in the background, I have not seen anything like this before. Baked goodies and There was a cozy sitting down area on the main level by the fireplace as well as on the level above. I wished I had time to sit down for a coffee and croissant (especially since everything was served on beautiful vintage dishware!) But this was my errands day and I had to pass... I hope that you do better and definitely sit down and enjoy delicious treats, ambiance and very friendly service!
