In spring, summer and early fall every little town in the area has a Town Wide Yard Sale. This is an excellent idea for a day trip!

Yard Sales are so fun every year! This is an opportunity to have a Yard Sale yourself and take advantage of all the foot traffic around town. Or to go browsing and mingling. Downtown businesses usually have sidewalk sales and there are some food vendors. Here is a Facebook page with the most up to date listing of town wide yard sales in Ontario. Also, Stratford has, what they call treasure hunt weekends. This is when they put out unwanted items on Friday out for free and if no one picks them, the items are taken back and put away by the owners. Here are the dates:
